On the occasion of the upcoming 8th March, PSA Italy has decided to adhere to the campaign organised by a national editorial group and published in Genoa in the “Il Secolo XIX” newspaper to raise awareness against violence on women. The campaign takes the form of three evocative pictures published in various magazines that have adhered to this initiative. In the first one, the image of a father communicates the importance of educating the new generations of men to respect their partner and the feminine world in general. In the second one, the image of a young boy who looks at two cartoon figures representing his family is accompanied by an eloquent text. The third subject is addressed directly to women, inviting them not to remain silent, but to report any sort of violent behaviour they have suffered.
The publicity campaign, to which about twenty companies have adhered including PSA Italy, will appear eighteen times. The central message of this initiative: “Anche noi combattiamo la #violenzasulledonne” (We too fight #violenceonwomen) will be positioned above the company logos, which vary according to the newspaper.
The publicity campaign began on the 14th February and will terminate on the 8th March, with the editions sustained by PSA Italy published in the week that ends with International Women’s Day, the 3rd to the 8th March 2022. Two carefully chosen dates, St. Valentine’s Day and International Women’s Day. The idea is precisely that of associating the day of love with respect for women, a union which, judging by the increase in episodes that see friends, fiancées and wives among the victims, stillseems almost impossible to create.
We wish a happy 8th March to all the women of PSA Italy.
