On 3 August 2017, PSA Voltri-Pra celebrated the official inauguration of its new One-Stop Office. With a total investment of 2 million euros, this new building will provide the best standards in comfort and technologies to both the staff based there as well as the terminal users.
One of the more innovative methods used for verifying the status of an import or export container at our terminal is text message. This service allows you to verify the document integrity before delivery or pick up and makes the flow of traffic in the terminal much simpler.
Following the increase in traffic flow and in the dimensions of ships that pass through the terminal for the first semester 2017, an important new opportunity was introduced on July 5: the possibility of early pick up of import containers.
Due to the increase in container traffic flow at our terminal, we will extend our hours of acceptance for the truck door from the first of June to the 15 of September. We hope this will better satisfy the needs of the port and transport community.
In order to make the transition process to the new SOLAS regulations as smooth as possible for our partners, the PSA Voltri-Pra Terminal has updated its computers system well ahead of schedule and a verified VGM station has been installed in record time in the pre-gate area.
